Recycling
We now recycle all kinds of beverage containers that can be returned for a refund-- plastic and glass bottles and aluminum cans. Receptacles are in the children's lunch area and teacher's lounge. We should earn at least $30 a month for our school through this program. In addition, students are learning about the importance of personal responsibility in caring for our environment. We also recycle empty inkjet and laser cartridges, and used cell phones. There's a box in the office where items can be placed. Unfortunately, our school can't accept Epson or Canon BCI brand cartridges. Our program is sponsored by Planet Green, which pays us money for each inkjet, cartridge, and cell phone we send.
